I was sworn in as an attorney at law in 1996 and was subsequently active as a lawyer in France for fifteen years, first in Tours (Loire-Valley) and then in Paris. My clientele consisted primarily of small businesses, where I handled matters pertaining to employment law or debt recovery. In 2010, I decided to move to the Netherlands. The first two years, I was employed by an agent for scholarly publishers in Leiden, a new and interesting experience. In October 2012, I started working at Bierens, and I am glad to be able to practise my profession again. In addition to French, I also speak German, English, Dutch, and a little bit of Spanish.
