Legal Hackers take over the Amsterdam office!

The Legal Hackers event took place tonight at our office in Amsterdam.  This event was focused on “Securing the Cyberspace”. The presentation was fully attended with three experts lecturing in the area of cybersecurity. Below you will a brief description of our guest lecturers:

  • Melanie Rieback – CEO + Co-founder of Radically Open Security, the world's first non-profit computer security company. With her business, Melanie tests the computer systems of large companies with customers watching. Melanie has won several awards for her efforts to improve the online security world. Last year she won the TIM award for the most innovative leader in the Netherlands.
  • Greig Paul – University of Strathclyde. Greig Paul is a specialist in the field of cybersecurity, blockchain, and FinTech at the University of Strathclyde and is also a guest speaker at international security events.
  • Jelle Niemantsverdriet – Director Cyber Risk Services at Deloitte. Jelle is fascinated by the combination of cybersecurity and other disciplines such as human-centered design, safety research, marketing and data science. Because of this, he has researched some of the largest data leaks in the world. He has a unique view of what goes wrong in cybersecurity.
