Webinar Brexit

This webinar has already taken place. You can watch the recording below.

June 2016 caused quite a stir after the announcement of Brexit. After four years of negotiations, it was official, the United Kingdom parted ways with the European Union. With much to be finalised, many questions were raised for those conducting international trade. Companies in the UK, as well as Europe, were all looking to have their questions answered.

Three years after Brexit, our debt collection lawyers and specialists frequently receive questions relating to how EU creditors can collect against UK debtors. To address some of your concerns, lawyers Tessa Plews and Hanneke Zandvoort hosted a webinar discussing the following topics:

  • Arbitration: what is it and how will it help collect claims?
  • Terms and conditions: do the same agreements still apply?
  • Debt collection enforcement: can judgments still be enforced?
  • Applicable court and law: which provides the best protection?

If you would like to know more about the impact of Brexit on trade relations and what you can do to strengthen the position of your organisation, you can watch the recording below or contact our specialists.
